From Susan — The Wee-est FO

Sally will have some great blogging updates this week, but before she wows you with her knitting wonders, here is a teeny FO that I finished today.  I went crazy trying to find a charm for this bag — I already owned the glass heart, but didn’t think it looked quite right.  After searching endlessly (okay, three stores!), I finally decided just to throw this charm on the thing and be done with it.

Twilight Amulet Bag by you.

I like it!  I don’t know what my original problem was, but I like it.  I am calling this bag “Twilight” for the book and movie: clot red beads and the blood red heart!!

  1. Beautiful! So pretty in red.

  2. Blood red. My favorite color! (No, I am not a vampire nor do I play on TV.)

  4. Heart CHARM. CHARM. Not chart. Sheesh. Been looking at knitting charts all day.

    I fixed it!

  8. It is lovely and the perfect name too! Did you ever make an “evening bag” sized amulet?

  10. OH MY !! The larger “evening bag” sized is fantastic! Thank you for sharing the pic. A few years ago I did make one of the small amulet and thoroughly enjoyed knitting it! Can you share where I can find a pattern for the larger bag and where to purchase “pre’strung” embroidery thread?… assuming that it’s still embroidery thread for the larger bag. I would love to make one for my daughter!

  11. That bag is soo cute. I printed out the pattern, but where can I find needles that small? The smallest I own are 0s. What would go with sz 10 thread?

  12. You are making me want to take up knitting tiny bags with beads.
I am going to have to resist but it is very very hard.

    So very lovely.
