  2. Congratulations! What an accomplishment. This is from someone who dreams of racing up hills (doesn’t happen!) let alone mountains. Bask in your glory.

  3. I’m a knitter who has followed your blog for years and love you both. I also live in Colorado and my youngest son is a recreational road biker so he and I were “roadies” and followed Stage 6 on Saturday so saw your son-in-law in person. It was a great day, congratulations to Matt.

  4. Congrats to Matt! I told my daughter’s boyfriend about him when they were here. He didn’t know him but was very aware of this most prestigious bike race in the U.S.A. This is an amazing accomplishment! Nora looks so much like Sally! She is gorgeous! She must be healing well after her surgery!

  6. I saw him on the podium. For some reason I had turned the TV on and it was the end of the race. I never would have paid any attention if you hadn’t said something. How exciting for the whole family.

  7. Fantastic ! Just a question: does he race in Europe? Maybe in one of the classics? When it comes to bike racing, we Flemish are fanatics.
