Today we reached a milestone of mega-proportions. My oldest daughter graduated from high school. It’s true! I know this happens to just about everyone sooner or later, but it still feels pretty special to me. I am bursting with pride!
It’s hard to believe that the little peanut John is holding (with those unbelievable cheeks 
) grew into the lithe and beautiful young woman pictured.
Laura is bright and talented and artistic, and wise beyond her years. Graceful, gentle, with more than a touch of class and elegance.
Laura, you are special and loved!
And, you’re not my little baby any more!
PS (June 1) — Commencement was tonight and now it is official! Hats off to you, Graduates!
Congratulations to you and Laura. She is absolutely beautiful. I love the bottom right picture of the little baby legs. Hard to believe something so little can grow into something so lovely, isn’t it?

Oh, this just brings tears to my eyes. I love the “peanut” photo. And she’s gorgeous. Is she a dancer? She has that look about her.

Mama Susan, Your daughter is stunning! Congratulations on a job well done! When in the trenches of toddler hood, life seems to move slow, then suddenly you blink your eyes and they are all grown up and ready to fly. She will always be your baby girl!
