From Susan — Oh My

Just when you think you have seen everything!  Nadine, an almost brand new member of our knitting group, shared this picture of her cat, Molly.  Wearing a pom pom hat from the book Cats in Hats.

Really.  I have no words.  Molly looks absolutely thrilled.

Yesterday I was running errands and a very nice woman came up to me and said, “You don’t know me, but I know you.  I read your blog all the time!”  Her name is Kari and we had a wonderful visit!  This happens to me from time to time and reminds me that there really are people out there reading this drivel riveting content!! 😉  Thank you all, friendly readers!!

This is my first post using our brand new computer.  It worked!!

  1. Oh yes, I check you blog almost daily and seldom comment. I so enjoy seeing what you two are up to and love the projects you do. Thank you for continuing to share your work and knowledge. Love the happy cat hat picture, makes me wonder if my sister’s cats need hats!

  4. I’m trying to imagine what Henri, Le Chat Noir would have to say about this photo – something like “Oh-la-la ma vie torturee! Est-ce que je suis un chat noble ou une poupee?” That pretty much sums it up I suppose.

  7. I check in regularly … and I’ve looked for you in vain each year at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival 🙁

  8. I check in every day because you both are so inspiring. I can’t tell you how many of your projects I have tried to make and I entered our local fair this year after seeing your beautiful entries! That cat hat, though….too funny. My cats would smother me in my sleep if I ever tried to put clothes on them.

  9. Susan I saw you at Yarnover and was tempted to run up to you like I would a friend I’d not seen for a while, but I figured I shouldn’t bother you. You two have a great blog and are true knitting royalty.

  12. Still not sure what I think about this – feel I have crossed some imaginary line into crazy knitting lady land ?. Or maybe not. I still only have one cat so guess I am ok for now!!!
P.s. In reply to a previous comment, I have noticed that Molly has been sleeping closer and closer to my pillow…
