Knitting sweaters is slow, tedious, and often ends with disappointment: poor fit, unenthusiastic recipient, etc. Change all that!!

I have to admit to preferring the original, worsted weight version, but this might inspire you either way!! The sleeves on the fingering weight version are longer, but can be stuffed into the front pocket.

I’d forgotten about these! Thanks. An off hand comment by my mom today has “inspired” me to knit a Lopi sweater for her for Christmas. I happen to have the yarn and my very old Reynolds “New Icelandic Fashions For Men and Women” booklet (old enough that the booklet was $2.50 and mutton shops were the fashion for men). Thankfully, she’s petit. Not an Amazon like me. I think (hope) I can make it!
