1. The Great American Aran Afghan Edging
Susan was the grand prize winner in Knitter Magazine’s Great American Aran Afghan Contest. She knit the entire afghan, using her award-winning Aran sweater square in the center. She did not, however, knit the cable edging used in the published pattern. Instead, she used a garter eyelet edging. Her directions for it can be found here.
