Actual Size Graph Paper

Here is the link to the site for making actual size graph paper:  Actual Size Graph Paper.  Why is this helpful and when do I use it?

I use knitting graph paper when I design or adapt someone else’s design.  After you have an accurate gauge of your knitting, create graph paper to size and then use it to chart out the shaping for necklines, armholes, sleeves, etc.  

If you need to adapt from an existing pattern, make paper the size of the original pattern and chart out the shaping.  Then make graph paper in the gauge of your knitting.  Hold your gauge graph paper over the one from the original pattern and trace the outline onto your graph paper.  Plot out the revised shaping based on the line you have drawn.

Here is an example of how you can adapt a sleeve cap if your gauge is different.
