From Susan — Thanksgiving Eve

I am waiting for tomorrow to dive into this pie! If I ate the whole thing, no one would actually know, would they? You’re better off getting rid of ALL the evidence rather than leaving half a pie, right? Well, it’s a theory!

Pecan Pie

Happy Thanksgiving, all of our loyal readers! If you’re cooking, I wish you success. If you’re travelling, I wish you safe passage. If you are doing neither, I wish you happy knitting!

  4. Oh, how I love pecan pie! I wish I could reach through my monitor right now and grab a slice of that pie. I’ll be cooking, traveling, and knitting tomorrow, so it will be a good day.

  9. Cooked myself a vegetarian meal (black bean soup (with pumpkin in it), dressing/stuffing, green beans, apple brown betty). I don’t make a good pie. It’s after 10 pm, but I’m still hoping for an invitation to my neighbor’s house for a piece of one of her marvelous pies. I don’t think she made pecan pie, though, this year. Your pecan pie looks delicious.

  10. Your pie looks yummy! I wanted to share the new recipe we tried this year for pecan pie. This Maple Pecan Tart was really fantastic! I’ve tried four different versions over the past couple of years at Holiday time. And, for everyone, this is the best of the bunch so far!
