From Susan — Wrap it up!!!

We survived 2017.  I wasn’t sure it was possible and there were times that I doubted we would.  Things in the world have been shaken up topsy turvy and not all to my liking.  But knitting is still knitting and that I can control…to a certain extent!!

On Instagram, several people have started sharing “Nine in 2017,” so here is what I posted!  I am lv2knitmn on Instagram, and I would love it if you followed me!!

  3. My total number of projects for 2017 was bolstered by the fact that I started the year banging out 11 pink hats for strangers and friends. 🙂 When I looked up my 2017 projects on Ravelry, at first I thought, “Wait, how could I have knit that much?” followed by, “Ah yes. Eleven chunky-weight hats on size 11 needles.” 🙂 Makes up for the complex fingering weight test knits I also did. 🙂 Happy new year!

  4. I count FOURTEEN, you over-achiever you 😉 One year down, only three to go: I am confident that Fearless Leader will be too tired of the job to seek a second term. Nil desperandum.

  5. Survived is the right word, Susan. It warmed my heart to see your sentiments, and also to take a few minutes to catch up on the blog. Congratulations on the acceptance of your Niebling into the MHS archives (I’m seeing into the future!). It will amaze some textile historian for sure, just as it amazed everyone at the fair.

    Peace in 2018.
