I have knitted up to the tree line on Oregon — woo hoo! I was not lying when I said this was going to be a long haul. Part of the problem is the non-portable nature of the project. And as yet I have not found my portable project.  I am bereft and have nothing to take to work with me, or in the car (when eldest daughter is driving). So, I plug along when I have time at home.
But here is Oregon:
Watching grass grow…….yawn!
Oregon is beautiful this time of year. Seriously, I admire your Fair Isle technique. This is turning out nicely.

From Susan — thank you for the nice comment. The colors scream fall — hopefully I will get wear out of it this year, but if not there is always next year!

From Susan — Jennifer, I know you LOVE socks and make more in one week than most of us manage in a year, but I’m not that crazy about knitting socks. I am kind of getting in the mood though and may surprise you one of these days.

It’s gorgeous! Haven’t tried doing a FI in the car but managed quite nicely in a plane. Maybe because the color changes weren’t as often?
