Here is another progress picture of Oregon. I feel like I got to an important milestone: I am done with a full Chart B repeat.Â
I am pretty close to gauge — IÂ have about 5″ to the armhole steek.Â
So I will knit on…the other big item on the agenda this week is to get ready for my trip to DC. And get the kids to their first day of school. And remember to pick up my stuff at the fair.Â
Incredible colorwork with nary a misplaced stitch! Love the way the pattern casts a “shadow” every so often, too.

Definitely a milestone. I’m going to DC for two days next week. I was quite bummed to find out that the American History museum closed today, until 2008.

That’s cruel! I’m not supposed to do any more on Oregon till I’ve finished at least four sleeves. It’s lovely!

Hey there- I’m new to your blog, it’s really great. I have to tell you, I made the exact same sweater in the same colors two summers ago. I never did, however, put buttons on it. That seems to be a big challenge for some reason.

I’m new to your blog- and was blown away by the sock-monkey dress. Too hilarious! I made the exact same Oregon two summers ago, but for some reason, have never found suitable buttons for it. That seems to be a big challenge in my life.

What beautiful work! I am still trying to gather up my courage to tackle
a fair isle project. Keep up the inspiring good work!
