From Susan — Not a Good Sign…

I don’t know which is worse — the fact that I thought this magnet was so perfect, or that I forgot I bought it!!

  5. Well, if it’s on the fridge, that means you went into the kitchen for ice cream!

  9. Hi Susan,

This is note is about your modification for the Swirl Shawl/Scarf pattern (I couldn’t find any other contact info and I don’t know if you see comments to old posts, so I’m just putting the comment here). Anyway, THANK YOU so much for you fix to the pattern!!! The directions were Driving Me Nuts! Really confusing to have you pick up 10 stitches on the ‘side’ of the hex, when the sides of the hex are 3 stitches off of the start of the round – it all comes out very wonky if you follow it as written. My scarf turned out lovely, my Aunt loves it and I’m grateful that you came up with such a clever solution!

I really enjoy reading this blog that you and your sister write, you are both very talented knitters!!

    Thanks again, Suzy C.

  10. My dear mother, who is three weeks short of 87, is all upset because she couldn’t remember which evening one of my brothers was coming over. My sister very patiently explained how she lives her own life in post-it notes. I’m going to share this post with her…if I can remember it!

  11. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said this to myself after going into the basement for something. I have to physically go back up the stairs to try to remember what I went down for. If I end up really losing it (my mind) in the coming years, at least I’ll be in shape! 🙂

  12. I can certainly relate to that one! Happens more than I would like to admit.

  13. I went to another room not once, not twice, but three times over the course of about 2 minutes over the holidays. It took that many to actually get to the other room before I forgot. Sheesh! I do relate!

  14. Oh yes, I can really identify with this sign. It happens more than I will admit. I chalk it up to having too many things on my plate to do!

  17. My favourite part is the fact that it’s done in 1960’s font against a funky early-70’s wallpaper background. Talk about targetting your chosen demographic…
