I just bought me two skeins of knittin’ insurance and that makes me feel fine! I was worried about my Kathmandu and now I am worry free! I also bought yarn for my daughter to make another scarf — she has one for every outfit almost. Tonight we bought electric neon green. It is gorgeous.  She made a purple one this weekend. When my daughter knits, all is right with the world :).
PS — I love reading all your comments about being a new knitter, etc. Thank you for sharing!!
A scarf to match all outfits, now that’s heaven on earth…I love knittin’ insurance! If you don’t need it, you can always make an accessory or an afghan later. Even new folks know that! 😉

No knitting insurance for me! I like believing that the designer told me the truth when he/she told me how much yarn I needed. But, if I mess around with his/her pattern, then that’s my fault if I run out of yarn!

From Susan — But I always mess around with the pattern! I’m 5’10” tall. If I didn’t mess around I’d be half naked ;)!

But that’s in, Surly. Come to think of it, that’s probably how it started.
I have to get knitter’s insurance. Too prone to idiot mistakes and I love to knit stuff far beyond my abilities.
