A couple of you wrote to say that you grew up with the same Santa Stockings as Sally and I. Martha shared a photo of her beloved stocking and said I could post it.

my ex’s aunt made all of us stockings just like that santa stocking. she made them to match the one she made for my ex when he was little!

You just made me remember the Santa stocking I made for my Mom when I was about 5 or 6 years old. Green and red felt, white yarn plus sundry decorations. I was so touched that she still has it and surprised that it’s held up fairly well, given that I was 5 or 6 so long ago 😮

Hi, I was looking for someone to make some more stockings just like the one you have posted. My grandmother made them for our family before she passed away, and we’ve added some new family members that I wanted to get matching stockings for. Do you by any chance know anyone who could knit these? Thanks.
