Minus. Twenty. Three. Degrees. It is my day off, and I still had to go out so I could take my daughter to school.

Yup, that’s cold, even for Montreal. By comparison, we are a “balmy” -8C (18F) right now but your cold snap is heading our way….think I’ll begin bundling up now!
Cheers, Barbie O.

Brrr- and I was complaining because it was 3 here with 5 inches of snow.

Yikes! I had better stop whining about the weather here. It’s a balmy 40F.

I grew up in Minnesota and don’t miss that aspect of it. Minus twenty-three was the temperature while we scattered my Dad fourteen years ago on January Fourteenth. When I tell people on the East coast how cold it was they can’t quite get it. You were a trooper to take your daughter to school. But what could you do? That’s the Minnesota way!

Spring is just around the corner, isn’t it? That’s what I keep telling myself.

yeah, I was talking to Jan this afternoon and she was whining about it being 15F. I let her go on awhile, and then pointed out that we had warmed up to 7F today. That quieted her down for a bit!
