Several of you asked me about the modifications I made to my Damson Shawlette to produce the beautiful mesh insertions. I did not come up with the idea — it was the work of Linda Butkis. She has since written up the chart and it is available as a free pattern adaptation. You still need to purchase the original pattern, but this designer-approved version is available to all.

Thanks for the information about the shawlette. Now, how about an update on your EZ green sweater?

Just another great example of the amazing generousity of the many knitters out there. Thank you for sharing this – it is so pretty. Someday I hope to give it a try (after my skills improve :). )

Thank you so much! I have been lusting after this for a long time, but didn’t want to knit it without the adaption…..it really adds to the beauty. I’m not clever enough to work it out myself, so I really appreciate it!!
