Of course, if we get another big snow that closes the roads, you won’t have to worry about going to the grocery store for the evening’s roast poultry!

eek! I remember seeing that movie on television when I was in the fifth grade and then walking to school the next day terrified! What made it even more so was that I lived in the SF Bay Area…………

Dinner! Although they look a bit thin. Be careful where you walk after they leave, LOL

I DID IT!!! Just finished putting my first Great American Aran Afghan together and it is BEAUTIFUL!! I keep staring at it in amazement. I can’t believe that I am responsible for every single stitch. I have never created anything like this before. I have the squares done for a second one and will be getting busy with that one ASAP. These will be gifts for my grandaughters (two girls of a set of triplets, the other being a boy) for their 16th birthday in July. Can’t wait to give them to them. I’m still in awe!!

Oh, Susan, you are special. So many turkeys. We had 4 in the neighboring yard. My husband and I watched them for about a half hour.
Have you seen the Youtube video of the turkey chasing the mail truck.

Eek! They are taking over the whole country. I think they are turkey vultures and they have been infiltrating our neighborhood in Maryland over the past couple of weeks. I saw 10 of them on my neighbor’s roof this morning (up from 5 last week). There was a horrible story on NPR a few weeks ago about a town in central VA that couldn’t get rid of a huge flock of them…I am afraid, very afraid!
