From Both of Us — Like Lemmings!

Filed under: Updates — Both Sisters @ 5:59 pm

We are so bad!  We were skyping and paging through the latest issue of Vogue, and S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G.  We kept seeing things we liked and then going on line to check them out.

Case in point: these lil cuties by Star Light Clay on page 11:

We couldn’t hit “add to cart” fast enough! 😉 They were sold in pairs (lucky for us) and we bought them in color jade.

Who knew thumbing through a magazine could be so expensive!!??

PS: “You do realize that by sharing these you are perpetuating the problem for the rest of us!”  Yes, we do — that’s the definition of enabling!!

  1. And thank goodness we didn’t buy everything we wanted. Yet.

  2. Those mugs are great. Went to the shop and drooled a lot. She had a knitter’s mug too… hmmmmmmm

  3. I love that Star Light Clay refers to her cups and bowls and stuff as “hand-built” instead of “hand-made”. So much more massive-sounding.

You’re kidding, right? All it takes is a suggestion of a yarn, or pattern and we fly in droves to go check it out. And, with magazine in hand, you think it’s unusual to buy and have it be expensive? But those are really cute mugs. And now, I will have to go check out these wonderful bowls and mugs for myself. Knowing, full well, that it’s going to be an expensive ‘look.’

  6. Hi Susan, Funny that I was just perusing my Vogue Knitting last evening. I saw the page with all of the mugs and said to myself, “Wouldn’t it be fun to own one of these?” I preferred the ones that were colorful, though. Hope you enjoy yours. Cathy Rootness
