I’ve been flying under the radar the last few days, but getting some progress made on both Oregon and Eris.  Marina kind of inspired me when she asked about the zipper for Oregon, so I knitted up all the bands this weekend.  That means Oregon is almost a fait accomplis!

Eris is my take along.  I am over halfway done with Sleeve Number One.  I bought a new pattern off the internet this weekend and if I find the right yarn, I’ll share it.

  1. Well I didn’t want you forgetting about Oregon 😉 That’s interesting! So, you did the front bands but didn’t cast off, did the neckband over the neck and front bands and didn’t cast off. I wonder what’s next?

  2. Your Oregon looks very “jacket-ish”. I just checked, and the one on Virtual Yarn’s site is a v-neck. I would like to crawl into those beautiful colors — it must be so fun to work on them.

  3. Even if you don’t find the yarn (perish the thought), will you still share it with us?

  5. I can’t wait to see Oregon with the zipper! It will be very interesting to see it with a sportier twist.

  6. That is so gorgeous. I bow to your superior knitting skills — I am not worthy. But will you share your technique for the ribbed bands? I am intrigued.

  7. It’s just gorgeous, Susan. Can’t wait to see it in the Fair.

  8. When you do the corrugated ribbing, do you do it loosely? I made this kind of ribbing once for Henry VIII, and am less than satisfied with the end result in that it is not very elastic. Perhaps I did something wrong.

  9. Brilliant modifications *and* execution! it is going to be such an elegant jacket, both sporty and stylish. I can’t wait…
