I am wearing the Vittadini Top today underneath a pale green linen shirt. It is quite acceptable! I may need to do more summer knitting — a cotton cardigan or something. It is always air conditioned and it’s nice to wear knitting other than in the dead o’winter.

Susan- That’s great you found a way to wear it. I bet you look great.
I always wish I had some knit summer things, but I have to admit a certain
aversion to cotton yarn. I hear Rowan Calmer is nice, but is not 100% cotton.

I know you have an aversion to modeling your creations, but I wonder if you could make an exception and show at least a neck-down photo, in the interest of promoting summer knits? I also can’t seem to think beyond wool for future projects, so you would be doing the knitting world a favor.
Your picture from the Yarn Harlot visit was lovely, anyhow, so you should have nothing to fear!

I’m with Ali and Susan… wool seems so much nicer to have in hand and the finished projects “set up” so nicely… Cottons are so droopy. I need some cotton inspiration to make me give it another try. Pictures help!

Nice to read that the silk is being used! Bet it looks wonderful and feels good next to the skin.
