Tonight was knit night, and it was quite fun. I just love getting together with my peeps — what can I say?Â
I did get dissed a bit, though — people accused me of abandoning “My Precious” (aka the Peacock Shawl). Au contraire, mes amies. The Peacock Shawl is meant to be savoured, like a fine wine. And don’t forget that I ripped back to 2% and re-knitted to 8% in pretty good time! The only problem with Peacock is that it takes enormous concentration for me and therefore all planets must align for me to do my “best work.”Â
I have been getting a running start on my work sweater, and continue to move right along on the Mitered Tote. I’ll post some pics soon.
Okay, tonight was the season finale and it was great!! Wow! They left just enough hanging, started some new things, and sent in a few unexpected zingers. I will definitely watch it again tomorrow night to make sure I did not miss a word. You are correct – I have no life ;). I think that became crystal clear when I wrote my 8 random facts!
Maybe it’s me since I don’t watch Grey’s religiously, but it didn’t really seem like there was a full season of episodes!

From Susan to Marina — I’m not sure what constitutes a “full season” in terms of numbers of episodes. I do know that in recent years, shows have plugged in reruns throughout the year instead of running all of the new episodes back to back and leaving only reruns after that — I think it IS because they tape fewer shows overall and call it a season. That’s true of a lot of shows, not just GA. Now I have to wait until September, and it will be tough!

Susan – it was great to see you last night! I need to get to Thursday night knitting more often. As far as GA goes- I guess we did find out if they got married or not! I didn’t see what was coming at all at that point. Good thing I wasn’t at a difficult row on my Clementine shawl. I was looking at my progress and realized that the pattern calls for 15 inches after you finish increasing. I was thinking it was 15 inches from the beginning. (would have been a very short shawl!) Oh well I am getting the simple pattern down and am enjoying my first lace project. See you soon.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Or yarn. Or parties.
There should be a no dissing rule- we all wander from time to time.
I’m the biggest project ho of them all!

Hey, I like the Peacock excuse. Can I use it? 😉 I’m on chart 7 and it takes some serious concentration. Not to be had these days, I’m afraid. And I’m with you: knit what you enjoy and don’t ever make it a chore! Have a great weekend!
