Winter finally reared its head in Minnesota!
It really does look blue outside right now. We have an official “snow day” for Jena’s school. No snow day for me though. I am NOT going to attempt it!

I find pictures like this so pretty in December — I’m hoping that I don’t wake up to the same tomorrow now that it’s almost March!

It is so pretty. I love the blue cast. We also have that on the very rare occasions that we do get snow.

I wasn’t going to go in to work this morning. But after watching the reports on the roads and how well, albeit slow, traffic was moving, I decided to give it a shot. The car felt like I was driving on railroad tracks all along the highway. That’s just not right. But I got to work, no accidents in sight, and I was only 2 minutes late. Not bad considering the speed we travelled was 5 to 10 MPH for my nine mile jaunt. And tomorrows high is supposed to be 36. This snow will be gone in no time. And I really hope his cousin doesn’t come for a visit. I’m counting on spring to get here really soon.
