From Susan — A Dam Site for Sore Eyes

Thanks to everyone for the heartfelt words.  I really appreciate the outpouring of kindness for our community.  I do not plan on dwelling on this incident, but thought I would share a few pictures before moving on.

  1. Your photos are just chilling, even on a +90 degree day. Our prayers are with you all.

  3. One of my first thoughts was J. and wondering if he had been at work. I am so glad to hear that he is well, that you are all well. We had calls from Kansas and the East Coast and an e-mail from London, wondering if we were fine. You have a 1st hand eyewitness to this whole thing. Please tell him that we’re thinking of him. Love you lots, Marti

  6. I’ve only been reading your blog since starting the kauni and didn’t realize you were in Minneapolis. Being right next door, SW Wisconsin, we have been very much aware of the situation and send you prayers and support. Take care of each other.
