My Little Monkey Shines knit in Ella Rae
Yes. It is a Sock Monkey Project Bag! My husband said, aren’t you over those yet?? Yes. But it’s a Sock Monkey Project Bag! It was fun to make and putsy to finish (which you can tell by looking, I’m sure). I am going to line it when my fabric arrives from Amazon:

You use plastic needlepoint canvas to give it its shape. They make circles so the bottom was easy to do. I think this would make a good holder for a ball of yarn. Fun and cute, with very clear directions though I really think it needs to be lined. Nice little project!

I love sock monkeys, and that one is super cute! I just made pink sock monkey pajamas from the same material which you have shown in red. I have them on right now.

Couldn’t you use a sour cream or cottage cheese container, something like that? Oh wait, those taper don’t they. Nevermind. Or how about peanut butter jars? You could cut it to height. Put tape on the top to keep it from rubbing/cutting the yarn.

Oh dear. I am a sucker for sock monkeys. I bought the pattern! Now I need it to warm up a tad ( I live in Michigan) to go out to get yarn. Me and single digit temps don’t play nice.
