My assistant is gone, but the knitting continues. I have finished the body of the Tangled Yoke to the point where the sleeves are added, and I’ve (just barely) started on the first sleeve. As I said, I am knitting this as a pullover, so the body — as you can see — is in the round. There’s not a lot to say; the fun stuff starts later. Here is a progress photo.
I am not deliberately ignoring some of the questions readers have asked about the Silver Belle. I am, however, ignoring my Silver Belle for the time being. When I get back to it, then I’ll try to answer the questions you had.
Sally- Nora took your assistant with her? Aw, doggone!
Really nice color- I prefer it to the original.

Now that’s my kind of sweater. Knitting in the round with no seaming. I can’t wait to try if for myself.

How do you think Silver Belle would work in Felted Tweed?

Very pretty color.

From Susan — Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Mateys!! The color is so pretty and I love the texture. It is kind of inspiring me to start my Plisse, which is it’s twin sister — albeit a slightly greener twin!Â

Hi, you mentioned that the row count is off in the 38″ size. I thought it was my inexperience that messed it up. I cross analyzied the row count and stitch count and got 6 decreases. Now I am increasing and it looks like i’m to do 5 increases so I’m all confused. 226 – 202 = 24/4 = 6 increases AND decreases, right? Your assurance/advice is much appreciated

I am eager to hear about your cable modifications to make them encircle the yoke of a pullover. My first thought when I saw it in the magazine was “Oh what a great pullover that would be!” Can hardly wait till you finish. It is going to be lovely.
