Thanks, all, for the wonderful and supportive comments. It is very much appreciated from this end.

A couple of answers to a couple of questions:
#1 — What yarn did you use?
I used Fino Alpaca with a Twist (875 yds/100gm) – I have a lot left over of the second skein and used US #1 (2.5 mm) Lace Addi needles.
#2 — Will you sell or rent out the pattern?
Sorry, no! It was part of the hunt, and I may make this lil pup again some day.
Thank you all and it’s on to the next…
Your Lyra is incredibly beautiful. I’m awestruck.

If I can ever have something so beautiful, symmetrical, crisp and lovely to put on my table, I will die a happy woman.

I mean, of course, something that I made, without chemical assistance!

Well, I hadn’t been to your site for a few days and then I do pop in and see this! I too coveted Soo’s Lyra but that is where it will stay. Coveted. There is no point in even trying to locate the pattern – total waste of time. Exquisite.

I too had been absent for a couple of days, I just turned my back for a moment and blam. It’s just too beautiful!

My mouth is hanging wide open. That is the most beautiful thing I have seen in a very long time. It nearly brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely unbelieveable.

Susan- It’s incredible. You’ll have to bequeath it in your will.
So, what’s next?
