It’s someone’s birthday. I’m not at liberty to say whose birthday we’re celebrating today. A few clues: she’s the best sister ever, she’s my partner in crime, she’s my best friend.

PS from Susan — I don’t know who she could possibly mean! 😉 I did take today off so I could go see Jurassic World but that may not happen. We will go out to eat because I want to order and walk away from all of the dirty dishes.

Susan…..I missed your birthday….I hope it was wonderful. It was on my calendar, but I wasn’t looking at it. Tom had a heart attack on Sunday and he was in Duluth and I was in EP. He drove himself to urgent care!!!! I first dropped everything and drove back to Duluth. Monday Tom had an angiogram at St. Mary’s and they found 4-5 blockages. Four of them could have been stented and one has to be bypassed, but the doc wanted more input from Tom and his family so they opted to do nothing on Monday. He got discharged on Tuesday and yesterday I drove him back here. The plan is to have bypass surgery here at Abbott Northwestern where all of our doctors and surgeons that we know and love are. Today we are headed to see the cardiologist. He’s asked Tom not to eat anything after midnight in the event he wants to do the surgery STAT. All blockages will be by-passed at this point. Our crazy life just got crazier. HAPPY! HAPPY! Cathy
