Sorry about yesterday — our site was playing ‘pouty teenager’ and refused to do its chores! Today it’s up and we have nothing exciting to talk about!
My knitting is in the doldrums. I have been working on the Mitered Cardigan and the enjoyment factor has slipped dangerously low. On a scale from 1 to 10, if a project slips below a 4, it is in danger of being replaced :). It is teetering very near (below?) the danger zone. My eye is wandering, my knitting fingers are getting twitchy, and I am close to pulling the trigger on something new. Yarn Harlot talks about this in such a positive way in her new book, Things I Learned from Knitting, that you almost feel like a knitting nerd if you are monogomous!
Actually, I would start a new project if something would just bite me.Â
I hear you! I just rounded the center back stitch of Ballerina and am ready to stuff it in a knitting bag and pull out another project. I want it to be done but wishing doesn’t make it so. I am drooling over the spring designs racing around in my head.
Please finish the sweater….It’s gorgeous and I can’t wait to see the finished piece. Thanks for sharing all your knitting wisdom!

I’ll be flying through Minneapolis next Wednesday. Any yarn shops in the airport? I have a two hour layover.
With proper incentive I am willing to bite. 😉
If I have your location confused with that of your sister, I beg for mercy. I’m prepping for my first client visit ever and I have no idea what knitting to pack.
(Yeah I really should be more focused on the presentation I’m supposed to give, but priorities you know?)

You make me feel so much better! There are so many projects that I mean to get back to but don’t. Actually, I am happily working away on one that I like right now, a lace pullover in a cashmere/silk belnd. But I was just organizing all of the ones that I still consider “in progress” — as opposed to the real UFO’s that I can’t quite bear to discard or dismantle, but I know in my heart that I will never pick them back up … And there are way too many in progress.

Tiny Tyrant — you are correct; Susan is in Minneapolis. Sadly, I am fairly certain that there is no yarn store in the airport.
I WISH I COULD KNIT!!!!!!!!!
Throws self on floor in despair.

I think Tina has really hit on something — yarn shops in airports, YES!

If knitting is a hobby, should you continue with a project if your not
having fun?

Happy knitting only!

I’m working on Cobblestone right now, but my eyes are really starting to wander to the Inga hat. Something quick and interesting is definitely in order.

Sally honey, I hope you didn’t land on your hands young lady!
I’ll live. And a two hour layover isn’t long enough to leave, get a car, haul a* to the Yarnery and get back for my flight.
GR!

Oh, this makes me feel so much better. Something bit me yesterday, and I’ve been trying
to fight it off. So maybe I’ll just scratch that itch, then I can blame you and the
Harlot. Mwahahahahaha.
