Unbelievable. That’s all I can say. Shocking.
The Lyra pattern is available. Fully, easily and CHEAPLY ($7 plus $4.50 “handling”) available. I don’t know if I should laugh (with joy) or cry (cuz I spent way more than $11.50!!). Lacis now carries the Niebling Lyra pattern as a single pattern.
Knock yourself out, people!
Thank you for that. This pattern has been on my wish list for a while.

Ah well…we can console ourselves that we were among the pioneer Lyra-ers, who paid the price so that others could knit her glory! 🙂

Wow! Thanks so much for posting about this.
Also, I wanted to thank you for posting the Hemlock Ring PDF and corrections–I found it invaluable when I made the blanket recently.

I bet is was because of you that they decided to get it in to sell on the web. I looked a long time trying to find it, but alas, other eye candy caught my eye and I forgot all about it. It is very pretty and I feel myself being drawn to the light. I must resist. Oh heck, where is that link.

I’m a longtime lurker, content to sit on the sidelines and read your blog and other reader’s comments. Lyra has fascinated me for so long yet the prices for the pattern made it completely unattainable. Then I read your blog…my heart started beating faster and I had a definite lump in my throat as I clicked the link. And now the pattern is mine! Wonder & Joy! Only a knitter could understand the feeling I’m feeling now. Thanks so much for sharing the news!

Everytime I see a glimpse of your Lyra sitting there filled with unassuming beauty I take a deep breath. I dont know that I will ever be knitter enough to tackle that pattern! But I might buy the pattern and dream anyways!
