Yes, it’s that time of year again…when I release a free Hostess Hat pattern!! Second annual!! This year it is The Holly Hostess Hat. It’s the sister to last year’s The Hostess Hat.
Not sure if there will be one next year, but stay tuned!! 🙂

This is lovely & I’ve already added it my Ravelry library. Thank you so much for your continued generosity, Susan. I keep trying to convince my Spousal Unit that I need to retire so I can knit up my collection of Rainey patterns & the rest of my never-ending queue. He’s not buying off on it yet.

A hostess hat makes even more sense this year, when we may be moving our social lives outdoors, even in the cold. Thanks for the prettiness!

Thank you for the pattern. Susan! Are you sure you didn’t decide on the holly symbol, just so you could write your blog title? -). I really loved it!

Thank you Susan for this pattern, very festive and exciting. I like to knit hats, but have never knit with beads, I am excited to get started with this new technique.

I love this hat, but I’m confused about the sizing. My head measures 22” and, from what I can tell, this is a normal size for women. However, the sizes for your hat only go to 21”. Unless this hat is sized for children, I doubt that I would wear an extra large in much of anything. Am I missing something?
