Whew! Got through the holidays! I had one last gift to make and finally finished:
An adaptation of Plinth Mitts in Ella Rae Classic Wool, color Lunar Green. Hubby also received his Cobblestone Pullover. It was a little skimpy 🙁 so I tried reblocking it. For some reason, Shelter just does not budge with reblocking! I got a little more but not quite enough. It does fit okay, though:
He is wearing it as we speak! Yay!! I call that a win!
I like the Cobblestone sweater. I’ve never knit with Shelter, but I have a sweater of Loft, which is similar, but lighter weight. It isn’t very elastic. My sweater has stretched some (elbows, unfortunately) with wear. It goes back into shape a bit after a bath, but less than I expect with 100% wool. Still, a lovely yarn.

So handsome and classy looking – you should be proud. Oh, and the sweater’s nice, too…

Very classy mitts. And the sweater fit looks fine from here, though fit is so personal that my opinion doesn’t really matter.

It may ease up a little since the yoke is garter stitch. Lovely work, as always.
