Talk about simple and two “stockinette in the round” FOs in a week!
This cowl celebrates color and fabric. I started with the Nuance Cowl from Shibui, but with 5 instead of 3 colors. That meant redoing the math somewhat. I used Shibui Silk Cloud in Juniper, Cove, Caper, and Pollen. Pollen has a bit of green and I wanted gold, so I added La Bien Aimée Mohair-Silk, color Yellow Brick Road, to move to pure gold at the end. The size went from 18×51 inches to a blocked size of 13×60.
I really love it! Wear it long or short:
PS to Wendy: I am with you! My jaw dropped at $10 for a stockinette tube in the round which I completely reworked anyway! I was livid, but bought it anyway…aaarrrggghhh. 🙁
Gorgeous!

I second that. Lovely transition from one side to the other. Well done you! And it’s almost time to wear it – YAY!

Wonderful color and texture – sometimes that’s where it’s at! Beautiful!

Beautiful color transition and choice of colors to begin with. Thank you for giving the blocking and pre-blocking dimensions. It gives me a guideline to what to expect when using similar yarns (sometimes I suspect I could have stretched my fabric even further but didn’t have faith that I could.)

Those colours are stunning! And it’s often a knitter’s choice of colour that tempts me to knit something. One small gripe for me on this pattern though – I clicked on the link and saw that it’s $10! For an “easy to knit” cowl (their words). I’ve noticed pattern prices increasing, but that seems over the top. But I’ll take pleasure in looking at yours 🙂
