On Mother’s Day, my girls gave me a dishtowel they had purchased in Hawaii. It was adorable. Santa on vacay, barefoot, wearing a gaudy Hawaiian shirt:
I LOVE it…but had no intention of stuffing it in a drawer and either never bringing it out OR using it and getting it stained. So, I immediately decided to make it into a summer top. I ordered additional flour sack towels and the rest is history!
I absolutely love it! This is the pattern I used (version D).
I am so happy with it!! I have more ideas for this pattern, too!
So fun! Great idea.

How clever, I would never have dreamed of turning a tea towel into a top! I bought a couple of royal sheep coronation tea towels for the, well, Coronation. Should I turn them into a summer top? I think not.
